Embracing Transformation: Moving from Darkness to Light
In life, there are two ways we can deal with negativity: **negative denial** and **positive denial**. Negative denial is when we refuse to acknowledge the darkness, pretending it doesn’t exist. This approach often leads to more suffering because what we ignore tends to grow in the shadows. On the other hand, positive denial is about facing the negative aspects of life but not letting them consume us. It’s about recognizing the darkness without allowing it to take control of our thoughts and emotions.
As our lives transform, we start to see what’s not working, often recognizing these struggles as the work of the ego or what can be described as the crucifixion pattern. This pattern is the self-inflicted suffering we experience when we dwell on negativity. The key is to acknowledge this crucifixion without dwelling on it. If you constantly tell yourself, “I am so unhappy,” you will remain trapped in that unhappiness. The time it takes for one condition to evolve into another is often determined by how long we dwell on the negatives, enslaving ourselves to these thoughts.
But what is the Promised Land you’re heading towards? If you understand the ways in which your ego and neurotic patterns are crucifying you, then what is your resurrection? How do you rise above these patterns to experience true transformation?
A lot of so-called spiritual work can sometimes get confused with the pursuit of magic. There is a clear distinction between magic and the miraculous. Magic is about using your mental power to turn something into your possession, to make things happen according to your desires. While this can be effective, it often falls short of true spiritual maturity. Even if you manifest something good, if it’s not aligned with your highest potential, you will lose it eventually.
Magic is about harnessing universal forces for your own desires. It’s not inherently bad, but it’s spiritually immature. The miraculous, on the other hand, operates on a higher level of spiritual vibration. It’s not about asking God to do things for you or get things for you. Miraculous transformation comes from recognizing that you cannot heal yourself through sheer willpower alone. It’s about surrendering to a higher power and allowing that power to work through you.
The real despair in life often comes not just from external circumstances but from recognizing that we have sabotaged ourselves in the same ways time and time again. The miraculous transformation isn’t about pretending the darkness doesn’t exist and asking for something else. It’s about shifting our focus from the darkness to the light. Too often, we spend time analyzing what’s wrong, instead of focusing on what’s right and what can be.
The universe knows what it’s doing. If you’re not experiencing the bliss you desire, it could be that everything you want is already there, but you’re not seeing it. Or perhaps there is a part of you that still needs work, a part that needs to be healed so that you can naturally attract your heart’s desires.
This work is difficult because it invites you to confront the darkness within yourself. Transformation is not something to run away from. Instead, it’s an opportunity to bring your life circumstances with you and work on them—whether they are psychological, spiritual, or anything else that needs healing. It’s up to you to see the relevance of these experiences according to your circumstances, not to escape them but to learn from them more deeply.
Transformation isn’t about replacing your circumstances but about changing yourself from the inside out. As you grow and heal internally, your external circumstances will naturally begin to change. By embracing this process, you move closer to your own resurrection, where the miraculous becomes a natural part of your life, and the darkness gives way to light.
