Bringing Your Beliefs to the Surface

Bringing Your Beliefs to the Surface

Take a Look at Your Beliefs

This is one of the exercises from my up coming book “You’re life Coach doesn’t want you to have this” (Success Tools was my first title choice, let me know which one you like better) it’s tools and exercises that can help you improve your life.

Some say the law of life is all about belief.  What you believe to be true will be true for you.  If you believe money is a scarce resource, you’ll have a difficult time making money; you’ll overlook the opportunities of making an abundance of money. What you believe about yourself can be the cause of your limitless abilities, and it can be the cause of your downfalls and limitations in life too.

We have different types of beliefs.  We have beliefs about ourselves, about the world, and about other people.  In essence, we really have two types of beliefs.  The ones that help us grow and the ones that shrink us.  The ones that motivate us to keep going and the ones that stop us.  Beliefs that give us courage and beliefs that give us fear.  They are either limiting or empowering beliefs.  Negative or positive.

In this Success Tool, all you have to do is write down all the negative beliefs that you have and trace the source of those beliefs.  Many of our beliefs come from our childhood, from different events, from interactions with people, and from what we’ve learned either through reading, movies, even music.

Songs about love have the power to change beliefs about love.  Whether or not someone around you was successful financially, especially our parents, shaped your beliefs about money, for good or bad.  Even movies, if we watch movies about a certain country, our beliefs about that country can change.  If our friends always called us clumsy, then we start to believe we’re clumsy.  All beliefs can be subtle.  If our conscious mind isn’t on guard to weigh if what we’re experiencing will lead to a negative belief, then we subconsciously believe whatever people say, especially growing up.
